Join the Lower Savannah River Alliance for a paddle event on Saturday, October 7, 2017. We'll travel a winding 15 miles on an undeveloped section of the beautiful Savannah River from Little Hell Landing in Allendale County, SC to Burton's Ferry Landing in Screven County, GA. A family-friendly paddle trip to bridge South Carolina and Georgia!
$35 adult registration supports our mission as stewards of the Savannah River. $25 for seniors & military / $15 for kids under age 12. (Registration includes lunch.)
$15 camping option at the LSRA Education Center near the Savannah River.
A limited number of kayak rentals are available for an extra fee through the LSRA. Canoe rentals can be secured by contacting BackWater Expeditions. Meet at 8:30 AM at the LSRA Education Center, 12049 Burton's Ferry Highway, Allendale, SC. Participants will drive to Little Hell Landing to leave boats, then drive to Burton's Ferry Landing to leave vehicles, where a shuttle will be provided to take participants back to Little Hell Landing to begin the paddle.
