2022 CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD OPENS 

Any candidate who is seeking a political party’s nomination for a local, state or federal seat in the 2022 General Election may file for office starting at 12 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 16. Filing will close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30.

Each candidate must file with the appropriate County Board of Voter Registration & Elections Office or the South Carolina Election Commission. All candidate filing forms and fees can be found at www.scvotes.gov and/or at the appropriate County Elections Office associated with the specific office a candidate is seeking.

The Bamberg County Voter Registration & Elections Office, located at Bamberg County Courthouse Annex, Isaiah Odom Building, 1234 North Street, Bamberg, SC 29003 will be open for filing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
