Department Functions:

To receive 911 emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch emergency responders (Police, Fire and Medical) to various locations as requested by the citizens.

 

We are the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Bamberg County. We provide services for:

 

Bamberg County Sheriff’s Office

 

 City of Bamberg Police Department

City of Denmark Police Department        

 

 South Carolina Highway Patrol

Govan Police Department

 

 Town of Ehrhardt Police Department
Bamberg County Fire Departments

MedShore Ambulance Services

 

Other Functions:

1. Maintaining accurate communications records using various computers.

2. Providing 24-hour support for various departments such as:
