Mission Statement

The mission of Bamberg County Public Works is to provide quality services that improve and enhance the safety, cleanliness, health, and quality of life in our community by supporting federal, state, and local laws through the daily operations of the department.

Functions:

The Public Works Department is comprised of three divisions that fall under the direction of the Public Works Director. The three divisions of the department are:

• Mosquito Control

• Road Maintenance

• Solid Waste

Each division provides an important service to the citizens of Bamberg County and contributes to the quality of life experienced by those who live in our county. Our goal is to provide quality services to the public by utilizing the mot efficient and effective means and resources available. We believe that by working together, we become empowered and are able to meet the goals set for our department.
