The Bamberg County Board of Elections & Voter Registration reminds residents that Statewide Primary Elections will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Any person that is not registered to vote in Bamberg County and wishes to register to be eligible to vote in this Primary election must do so by the following deadlines:

• In-person must register no later than Friday, May 13, 2022. 
• Online, by email or by fax registration deadline is Sunday, May 15, 2022(www.scvotes.gov).
• By mail deadline is Monday, May 16, 2022. (must be postmarked by May 16,2022)  

Voters wishing to vote prior to election day with a qualifying reason may vote early during In person Absentee Voting. Please see info below:

• Bamberg County Voter Registration Office, 1234 North Street, Bamberg, SC 29003. 

May 16 – June 13, 2022 Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. &  

Saturday June 11^th 9am to 1pm

• Brooker Center, 19 Maple Ave Denmark, SC 

June 6 – 10, 2022 Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Registered voters who cannot vote in person may be eligible to vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots may be obtained from the Board of Elections and Voter Registration of Bamberg County. Call 803-245-3028 or send an email to vote@bambergcounty.sc.gov to inquire about the availability of absentee ballots.  All ballots must be received by Bamberg County Election Commission no later than 7:00 PM on Election Day.
