Lower Savannah Housing Consortium is accepting applications from November 15 through December 15, 2018, for Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation assistance. Applications are available on the website of the Lower Savannah Council of Governments website. Assistance is available to eligible homeowners in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties to cover the costs of repairs and improvements necessary to bring homes to applicable standards for decent, safe, and sanitary housing as required by applicable codes.
