Bamberg County will have a Public Hearing on the proposed 2020 Comprehensive Plan on September 14, 2020. Public comments regarding the Comprehensive Plan should be emailed to info@bambergcounty.sc.gov by noon on September 14, 2020.

The 2020 Comprehensive Plan was prepared for Bamberg County by the Lower Savannah Council of Governments. The Bamberg County Comprehensive Plan is the future vision for preservation and development in Bamberg County for the next ten years. The Plan establishes strategies for the County to pursue to maintain and enhance its quality and uniqueness with a focus on strategies that the County government can directly influence and achieve.
