Re:     Bamberg County Recognized by Digital Assurance Certification, LLC (DAC)

Bamberg, South Carolina (January 2025) –Bamberg County has been recognized by Digital Assurance Certification (DAC) for “ten years of outstanding commitment to continuing disclosure reporting for municipal bonds.” 

According to their website, DAC has combined “patented technology with high-level market professionals to provide compliance services to the municipal marketplace” for twenty-five years. 

The certificate of excellence notes, “With a dedication to transparency and accountability,” Bamberg County’s “commitment over the last ten years has set a standard of excellence in continuing disclosure reporting and positively impacted” their community “and the broader municipal market.” 

County Administrator Joey Preston stated, “We appreciate this recognition from DAC. Our dedicated staff and administration continue to work diligently, often with very few resources, to strive for excellence, and this honor is just one more example of that. Bamberg County will continue to be committed to transparency and accountability through disclosure reporting of municipal bonds.”
