Re: Blackhorse Steel Works to Bring 40 New Bamberg County Jobs
Bamberg, South Carolina (March 2025) –Bamberg County Council and administration celebrate Blackhorse Steel Works’ (Blackhorse) plans to establish operations in Bamberg County, which will create 40 new jobs.
Blackhorse provides innovative and advanced steel solutions for industrial and commercial projects, including cutting, welding, and bending, forming, and precision processing. They are investing $5.2 million in the 107,000 square foot Bamberg facility that will be located at 19110 Heritage Highway in Denmark, SC. Specifically, the facility, which is expected to begin operations in May 2025, will be used for the fabrication of miscellaneous and structural steel components. Interested job applicants should apply through the Indeed job website.
Additionally, a $150,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund Grant awarded to Bamberg County from the Coordinating Council for Economic Development will assist with building improvement costs.
