Invitation for Sealed Bids

Public viewing will be held at the Bamberg County Public Works Department, 1787 Broxton Bridge Road, Bamberg, on Monday, December 18th from 9:00 am to Noon.

Sealed bids are to be submitted to, Bamberg County Administrator, Attn: Thomas M. Thomas, P.O. Box 149, Bamberg, SC 29003 by 9 am, Wednesday, December 27th. Envelopes are to be marked “Sealed Vehicle Bid.” Bid will be opened at the Bamberg County Courthouse at 10 am, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

The high bidder will be notified by 5 pm or close of business on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Payment will be made at the Bamberg County Courthouse. Only cash, cashier’s check or certified check will be accepted. All equipment and/or vehicles must be moved from the premises by 3 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2017.

All vehicles will be sold as is and Bamberg County reserves the right to reject any/all bids. All liability and costs associated with the move of vehicles will be the responsibility of the buyer.
