Bamberg County Voter Registration Department

Bamberg County is seeking a full-time Voter Registration Clerk to assist in the Director of Voter Registration and Elections in overseeing the conduct of Primary, General, County, and special elections.
                 -Organizing and implementing the policies and procedures of the Board of Elections and Voter Registration to ensure proper registration of each voter in the correct precinct/districts within the county.
                -Overseeing absentee and fail-safe precincts.
                -Working with the general public on Voter Registration Outreach by teaching and registering the citizens of Bamberg County.
Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and will be required to complete certification through the SC State Election Commission within 18 months of hire.

The person hired must possess a valid state driver's license, good communication skills, knowledge of general office duties/etiquette (i.e. data entry, filing, answering phone, etc.), should be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities with minimal direction, must be able to work a flexible schedule dependent upon scheduled elections and the needs of the Voter Registration Office.

Pay Rate: $10.50 - $13.50/Hour
