Public Hearing – Third Hearing

Notice is hereby given that Bamberg County, led by its governing body, the Bamberg County Council, will hold a public hearing and third reading of the ordinance to adopt the amended Comprehensive Plan 2020 for Bamberg County in compliance with South Carolina Code §6-29-520 and §6-29-530 on September 14, 2020 at 6:00 pm. The public hearing will be held in conjunction with one of the three readings of that ordinance, at a meeting of Bamberg County Council. Due to the effects of the coronavirus on public meetings, the public meeting in question and the public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan 2020 ordinance will be held in the Council Chambers of Bamberg County Council, in the Bamberg County Courthouse Annex (Administrative Office Building)  at 6:00 pm on September 14, 2020. Anyone wishing to speak to or be heard concerning the comprehensive plan ordinance should be aware that the meeting will be conducted electronically, by utilizing electronic meeting technology, and the comprehensive plan ordinance in question will be considered and discussed, and the public hearing thereon will be available for all to see and hear through such electronic means, and a means will be provided for anyone having any input for the public hearing on the comprehensive plan, or questions regarding the comprehensive plan ordinance or any other part of the County Council meeting, to make such comments or ask such questions electronically, to be read aloud, and responded to as necessary, during the meeting.
