SLED CHARGES TWO BAMBERG COUNTY MEN WITH DRUG OFFENSES ONE MAN WANTED ON FENTANYL WARRANT

 

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jayvon Jacquel Johnson, 27, with Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Cocaine Base, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. SLED Agents also charged Ja’Kwan Malik Bryant, 26, with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Both Johnson and Bryant were charged on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

 

Details can be found in the attached warrants. Johnson and Bryant were booked into the Bamberg County Detention Center. The arrests of Johnson and Bryant are the result of a joint investigation involving SLED and the Bamberg County Sheriff’s Office.

 

The investigation is active and ongoing. SLED is working with the Bamberg County Sheriff’s Office to locate Craishun Le Troy Nickens, 29, who is wanted for Fentanyl Trafficking. Anyone with information regarding Nickens should contact SLED at tips@sled.sc.gov or (866) 472-8477.

 

The case will be prosecuted by 2nd Circuit Solicitor's Office.
