The Bamberg County Board of Voter Registration and Elections met June 17, 2021 to certify the results from the Town of Olar General
Election, held on June 15, 2021. The board ordered a recount due to two candidates for Town Council receiving 18 votes each, resulting in a tie. The recount will take place on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kearse Agriculture Building, 847 Calhoun St., Bamberg.

Results will be certified immediately following the recount. ln the event the election results remain the same, a Runoff Election will be ordered at that time which will be conducted on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
