The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Bamberg County  conducted the recount on June 18, 2021 and the results were the same. Therefore, the Board ordered a Runoff to be held on June 29, 2021. The runoff candidates for town council are Nick Martin and Tracy Waller.

The certification for the runoff will take place on July 1, 2021 at the Kearse Agriculture Building, 847 Calhoun St. in Bamberg at 10:00 a.m.
