Bamberg, South Carolina (April 2019) – Wilson Law Group, LLC sent several employee volunteers in support of Keep Bamberg County Beautiful’s Make a Difference Monday cleanups on March 25 and April 1, 2019. Wilson Law Group, LLC has committed to being a KBCB Green Business, in which businesses agree to keep the area around their business litter free and contribute at least eight volunteer hours per year, among other commitments.
Keep Bamberg County Beautiful hosts Make a Difference Monday cleanups on weekly or bi-weekly basis throughout the year. In the winter and early spring months, the cleanups are held at 4 p.m., when the weather warms up, the cleanups are held in the morning. KBCB initiated the Green Business and Green Faith Community program in early 2019. To date, ten Bamberg County businesses have committed to this program and KBCB is seeking additional participants, including church and community groups.
Chris Wilson committed Wilson Law Group, LLC to the KBCB Green Business Program and has committed 15 hours of volunteer time to the program. He encouraged employee participation by allowing his staff to volunteer during office hours for the Make a Difference Monday cleanup.
“Wilson Law Group, LLC is proud to support the KBCB Green Business initiative as we understand a clean community is good for business,” said Chris Wilson. “We had a staff meeting to discuss the volunteer commitment and our staff was eager to contribute. Community service sometimes means more, such as getting your hands dirty picking up trash. I am proud of my employees for doing their part and participating in a cleanup and I hope more businesses will get involved with this program.”
